The new Millennium finds the MVCCI, under the stewardship of the energetic Eduardo C. Francisco (ECF Metal Products & Repair Services), facing even greater challenges.  Strategic Planning was then held to formulate the mission, vision, objectives & Key Results Areas (KRA's) and programs & profiles of MVCCI thru the initiative and strong leadership of Mr. Francisco.  The first Matching Opportunities Ventures & Exchange (MOVE)-Marikina was held in coordination with PCCI.  Foremost in MVCCI's program is making he group the premier business organization in Marikina.  As the prime mover of Commerce & Industry and the "Voice of Business" in the city in 2001, the MVCCI won the Most Outstanding Chamber in NCR award and the most coveted Most Oustanding Chamber in the Philippines.
