The MVCCI renewed its Registration to the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1994 under registration No. 24904. The Chamber affiliated itself with Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry with President Porfirio N. Reyes at the helm. The Interim president Moises de Guzman, unfortunately passed away a few months after the reorganization.

The MVCCI likewise signed the Tripartite Agreement in 1994, a project spearheaded by then Marikina Mayor Bayani F. Fernando.  The Agreement aimed at attaining industrial peace in Marikina.  Parties to the Agreement were the Labor sector (represented by the Alliance of Trade Unions in Marikina, or ATUM); Management sector (MVCCI and the Marikina Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry); and the Local Government of Marikina.

Creation of the Small Medium Enterprise Development (SMED)-Council under MVCCI and the Fokus Marikina '97, a "Multi-Industrial Fair & Exhibit, 1st Marikina Labor, Business and Local Government Summit were the flagship projects of the President Jose R. Cabungcal (Lucban Hats Handicrafts). The Marikina Business Center located at the Sta. Elena Market was launched as the flagship project of the SMED-Council.

Alfonso J. De Leon Alfonso J. De Leon ( ALPS Cottage Industries)

President Alfonso J. De Leon (ALPS Cottage Industries) spearheaded Sports for Industrial Peace together with the active participation of Councilor Larry Punzalan and Vice Mayor Del De Guzman, to foster better relations among labor, management, and the local government.  It was also during Alfonso de Leon's presidency when the MVCCI hosted the 7th Area Business Conference at the Riverbend Hotel in Marikina.
